Frequently Asked Questions

Plans, security, features, sharing, and getting started.

Find clear answers about how PAM works, what’s included in each plan, how your data is protected, and how to organize everything you own inside one secure, private system.

General

What is PAM?

PAM, short for Personal Asset Monitor, is a private system for organizing and managing everything you own. Every home, vehicle, device, policy, domain, or piece of equipment gets its own dedicated workspace for documents, maintenance history, reminders, ownership records, and long-term tracking.

Instead of relying on scattered folders, spreadsheets, and email threads, PAM keeps everything connected, searchable, and organized in one secure place.

Cloud drives store files. PAM organizes ownership.

Instead of searching through folders and filenames, PAM connects documents, reminders, policies, maintenance history, and records directly to the assets they belong to. Open the asset vault, and everything connected to it is organized.

Anything worth owning is worth tracking. PAM supports both physical and digital assets, including:

  • Real property: homes, rental properties, land
  • Vehicles: cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, RVs
  • Equipment: tools, appliances, HVAC, electronics
  • Digital assets: domains, software licenses, subscriptions, accounts
  • Collections: art, instruments, jewelry, valuables

If it has a document, a warranty, a maintenance schedule, or a cost attached to it, PAM is the right place for it.

PAM runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, and mobile; no installation required. A dedicated mobile app is on the roadmap. In the meantime, adding PAM to your home screen on iOS or Android gives you quick access without opening a browser every time.

Yes. Business Asset Monitor (BAM) is currently in development for organizations that need a structured system for managing larger inventories, shared access, operational records, and team collaboration at scale.

Who owns or controls my data?

Your files never live on our servers. They live in your Google Drive — the same place they’d be if you’d organized them yourself. If you ever leave PAM, your documents leave with you, instantly, automatically. We keep your trust by never needing to hold your data.

Pricing & Plans

What's included in each plan?

Every plan includes full access to the entire PAM platform: asset inventory, document vaults, maintenance tracking, reminders, and granular sharing controls. No locked features. No upsells. The only difference between plans is how much you need to manage.

Personal

$14/mo

Household

$34/mo

Portfolio

$89/mo

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing for the remainder of your cycle. Your data is always preserved when switching plans.

Your documents live in your Google Drive — PAM never holds your files hostage. If you cancel, your files stay in your Drive. You can also export your PAM records, metadata, and asset history anytime from your account.

Yes. Annual billing saves you 17% across all plans, which is roughly equivalent to getting two months free compared to paying month-to-month. It’s the best option for long-term use, giving you the same full access to every feature while lowering your overall cost.

Security & Privacy

How is my data secured?

PAM uses TLS 1.3 for encryption in transit and AES-256 for encryption at rest. Your data is hosted on independent U.S.-based infrastructure with role-based access controls and full audit logs on every access event.

In plain terms: your data is encrypted end-to-end, hosted in the U.S., and no one can view it without your explicit permission.

No. PAM does not train on your data, mine it, analyze it for advertising, or sell or share it with third parties under any circumstances. Your information is private by design and remains fully under your control at all times. The only access to your data is granted by you to the specific people you explicitly invite.

All data is stored on independent U.S.-based infrastructure. PAM does not use major public cloud providers as the primary host, which means your data is not subject to the broader data practices of those platforms. We maintain full control over the environment your data lives in.

Sharing

Can I share with my accountant, lawyer, or spouse?

Yes, and with complete control. You can share a single asset, a specific folder of documents, a category of assets, or your entire workspace with whoever needs access. Set their permission level and revoke it at any time with a single click.

Sharing is granular at every level. You can share an entire workspace, a specific asset, a document category within an asset such as insurance documents, or a single file. The person you share with only sees exactly what you give them access to.

Named user seats, meaning individuals with their own persistent login to your workspace, are limited by plan: 1 on Personal, 3 on Household, and 10 on Portfolio. However, you can share individual assets or documents with anyone via link, regardless of plan.
